Grand Central Kitchen

This is a great spot for classic cafe breakfasts. We had the Full English and the house omelette and both were super tasty. The restaurant itself is simple, the tables are quite close together but it runs like clockwork! Staff are super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Portions are generous, food is delicious and turnover is fast. A great experience!

What an amazing place. Staff is so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, cannot fault this place. 10/10 for me. Popped in for a coffee and purposely charged me for a regular instead of a large, which honestly made my day. I went back less than an hour later for a dine in breakfast. I was greeted by the same happy team

Awesome place with the friendliest staff. Came by just before 8am and after a warm welcome I ordered a large flat white and an English breakfast (swapped the tomato for hash brown because I’m not a wrongun). Coffee was on my table in 2 minutes and the breakfast arrived shortly after. Everything tasted great and was brilliant value. Will definitely be back.

Our visit here was a last-minute decision, as we hadn’t planned to eat out, but we’re so glad we did. The menu is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the service is exceptional—all at incredibly affordable prices. As the name suggests, the location couldn’t be more central. We noticed many local regulars, which, along with their impressive online ratings, speaks to their consistent quality and service. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

Stopped off for breakfast again. This is the best place for the most amazing breakfast. Great location, brilliant staff. Massively recommended & most definitely will visit again.

Want great tasting food, no fuss and brilliant service... then this second to none cafe is unmissable!! It would be a mistake to stay in your hotel and not venture out to this flavoursome location!! The service is rapid! Food is served hot!! But the coffee... wow!! The regular flat white is a full cup of coffee... and better tasting than your chain coffee houses!!

Great service, lovely food, and nice, clean place to eat. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We searched everywhere on our trip to Birmingham, and this is the last place we found before we left to come home to Scotland and it was the best place we ate at out of our whole weekend. Highly recommend.

Central Kitchen is our absolute favorite go-to brunch spot in Birmingham! The food is simply delicious (I especially love their English Breakfast and House Omelette). The staff is always super friendly and makes you feel welcome. The service is quick and everything is just perfect. I look forward to visiting again!
